Our story began 13 years ago, when Darcy headed the opening of Servicemaster Clean, the janitorial division of the largest restoration company on PEI.

In 2014 his wife Cindy joined him in starting up their own new company, HMD Building Services.  We built on the loyal clientele and employees who started this journey with us, and grew the company for almost 10 years, until we took an offer to sell our business. Less than two years later, Darcy still has a passion for providing this service to the highest standard, and we have seen a huge demand from the PEI industry, both commercial clients and employees alike, for us to fill. We are proud to provide good honest work to our staff, and great service to our clients.

We know experience is of the utmost importance when it comes to quality of service.  With 13 years in the janitorial sector we’ve learned that clients need responsible, dependable leadership from their service providers.  We pride ourselves on our accessibility and responsiveness to client needs.
